The house at Am Adler Hügel 9 in Ruhpolding is a smaller & modern apartment building, among other things with the apartment Adlerhorst. We have been renting since 2016 and reinvest every year. The owner is Egbert Hartmann, who moved to Chiemgau for work more than 10 years ago and who lives here today. The apartment is absolutely quiet and fully equipped.
In the spring of 2022, the Robeta Apollo Air mobile home was added. It is mainly used in the cold season in southern Europe itself and is therefore available to guests for most of the summer. Rental starts for the summer 2023 season at Christmas 2022.

Summer in Ruhpolding
The mountains call for hiking, mountain biking, e-biking, paragliding and golfing. Or the nearby Chiemsee to relax. When the weather is good, the Rauschberg offers an excellent all-round view deep into the Alps or as far as Landshut. You can get there with a 3.5-hour hike (1,000 meters in altitude) or by cable car. Other popular destinations are the Unternberg, the Hochfelln, the Hörndlwand or the Staubfall as a transition to Austria. Best mountain air and first-class water is everywhere. From May to the beginning of October a constant delight for all nature lovers. Mountain biking or cycling tours in the surrounding area are possible almost everywhere. A flight school for hang-gliders and a golf course complete the offer. The summer toboggan run Chiemgaucoaster can be used almost all year round.
Winter in Ruhpolding
A Baithlon World Cup takes place annually in the Chiemgau Arena in January. You can then experience live the world's top athletes in direct competition. Tickets are usually sold from autumn/summer the year before. Biathlon taster courses are held weekly in the Chiemgau Arena. Ruhpolding and the surrounding area have over 100 km of groomed cross-country ski trails, which are mostly available from Christmas to mid-March. Snowshoe hikes are also very popular in the surrounding mountains. The Ruhpolding ski school supports everyone who is interested in getting better or in experiencing sports and mountains in a community. There are also courses for beginners in alpine skiing directly on site in Ruhpolding, a popular attraction especially for children and also possible throughout the season. The nearby alpine ski area Winkelmoosalm/Steinplatte with approx. 50 km of alpine slopes of all levels of difficulty invites you to go alpine skiing up to 1869m (approx. 20 min drive by car or bus transfer).
The holiday destination Ruhpolding
Ruhpolding has its own train station and is connected to the federal railway network. With almost 7,000 inhabitants (primary residence), it has a large number of taverns, a large wave pool with attached outdoor pool, an ice skating rink, a summer toboggan run, a golf course and a selection of traditional costume and sports shops. A police station, the mountain rescue service, the fire brigade, a local specialist hospital, several pharmacies, almost all common food markets, a hardware store with an attached recycling center and several medical centers complete the offer. The district town of Traunstein is only 25 minutes away by car and offers a full range. The Chiemsee is also only 25 minutes away by car. The Königssee near Berchtesgaden is only 30 minutes away. The Mozart city of Salzburg can be reached in 40 minutes. A trip to the Munich Oktoberfest by bus or train is also a welcome change.
